September – Southeast Michigan Market Overview

In September, the number of homes for sale has continued to decline. Compared to last September, there are 41.% fewer homes and condos for sale. The market is continuing to be as competitive as ever. Those bidding wars caused by limited inventory has resulted in an increase of  13.4% in average sales prices.

The great news is that compared to last year, there is a 19.1% increase in closed sales.
