October – Southeast Michigan Market Overview

October continues to be busier than normal as buyer activity is remaining high. Normally as the temperatures drop, so does the housing market but this is not the case this year.
Compared to last year, new listings were down 10.1% and closed sales were up 18.6%. It’s no surprise that the average showings per home has almost doubled from 5.6 in 2019 to 10 this year. This has also meant that multiple offers are still a pretty common occurrence in many areas, especially Oakland County.
If you’ve been thinking about selling, don’t wait, now is the time to take action. Give us a call at 248-270-5999 for more information on how to get started.
